In Summer 2015, SEEK instructor Q. Sakamaki's project "Gaza: Living in Ruins" was selected for inclusion in Photoville's show called "The Fence." The work was installed in Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Houston, and reached an estimated 3 million people.
From Photoville's website... "THE FENCE is a series of large-scale photography exhibitions printed on vinyl mesh and installed outdoors in 5 cities: Boston, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, and Santa Fe. Each exhibition is on public view for a minimum of 3 months in areas with massive pedestrian traffic, ensuring an unprecedented audience for your work."
The submission deadline for this innovative exhibit is March 7. For more information, go here: http://fence.photoville.com/submit/
