Our photo workshop in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico during Semana Santa is intimate, challenging, inspiring, and filled with chances to evolve as a photographer and traveler. Andrew Sullivan and producer Kerry Sherck will collaborate on daily critiques, shooting sessions, editing sequences, and creative development. We will help students take risks with their photography, and work side by side on the streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
San Miguel is famous for its light, its architecture, its culture, its food, and its friendly residents. A cultural center and intellectual hub just a few hours rom Mexico City, San Miguel is a modern city of about 150,000 residents with its roots in the 16th Century. Cobblestone streets, no billboards, vibrantly colored buildings textured with the patina of age, and a climate suited for photography at all times of day simply add more beauty to the fascinating rituals we will see on the streets.
This is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself into a week of creative photography, exploration, fun, great food, and an iconic cultural celebration.
